The Common Quality Assurance Framework (CQAF) constitutes a European reference framework to ensure and develop quality in Vocational Education and Training (VET), building on the key principles of the most relevant existing quality assurance models.

The CQAF may be considered as a cross reading instrument that can help policy makers and practitioners to get a better insight of how the existing Quality Aassurance models work, to identify areas of provision that need improvement, and take decisions on how to improve them based on common quantitative and qualitative references.
