31 August 2010 CRPG & Astangu
Two new EPR centre coordinators for CRPG and Astangu
Andreia Mota (CRPG) and Marika Hass (Astangu) have both left on maternity leave, and have been temporarily replaced by Ana Pinto (CRPG) and Keiu Talve (Astangu). The EPR Secretariat wishes to congratulate Andreia and Marika on the good news, and to welcome Ana and Keiu.

New EPR Centre Coordinator in SRH
Since 1 July Renate Bauder is the new EPR Centre Coordinator in SRH, a position which was previously held by Friedrich Landes.

New EPR Centre Coordinator in Fretex
Ingvald Hansen, Fretex Human Resources Director, has been nominated as a new EPR Center Coordinator in Fretex, a position which was previously held by Trine Gjermundbo. He is responsible for most of the contact with the key personal within rehabilitation in the Fretex-group.
EPR Secretariat would like to congratulate Mr. Hansen on his nomination.

6 May 2010 Theotokos
The 4th GreekCyprus Conference took place in Athens on the 15 – 16 of April 2010
The subject of this meeting was “Moving to my home” that had to do with supported living of mentally retarded individuals. The organizations that participated from the part of Greece were: Theotokos Foundation, Margarita, ESEEPA and ERMIS. From the Cypriot side were: Christos Steliou Ioannou Foundation , Lemesos Theotokos Foundation and Agios Lazaros Foundation.
These two days proved to be beneficial for the exchange of information and good practice concerning supported living of mentally retarded people. The participants were given the opportunity to wonder if the transition

RehabCare Launches Person Centred Planning Process and Handbook
Person Centred Planning is a way of discovering how a person wants to live their life and what's required to make it happen. Person Centred Planning is considered good practice in many countries across the world. It is most often used for planning with people with learning disabilities, though more recently it has been advocated as a method of planning personalised support with many other sections of society who find themselves disempowered by traditional methods of service delivery.

Astangu's new projects
In 2010 Astangu Vocational Rehabilitation Centre started with two new projects.
As a result of the second project the Estonian rehabilitation service system might change from single service based into program based. This project is a continuation of 2009 completed project which developed a format for the program and cost model. All the programs that will be put into practice during next 1,5 years will be supporting employment to include people with disabilities and unemployed into society
Both projects will be carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Affairs and the projects are financed by ESF funds.

The Heliomare management team has decided to focus on the clients in the age bracket 13-20 years. It concerns cooperation between the following business units:
The CPM project organisation takes the following actions:
Heliomares’ new website (01 May 2010) will contain so called 'product books': short descriptions of the services Heliomare offers. The project coordinators will use these descriptions for the Client process management. A list specifying which employees are involved in the registration of new clients will also be built, so more and more practical consequences of this 'vision' are implemented.

Employment and vocational training for people with "spina bifida and hydrocephalus"
In cooperation with the German "spina bifida and hydrocephalus" Association and the University of Dortmund, Josefsheim Bigge is planning a European project to promote employment and vocational training of the target group people with the disability "spina bifida and hydrocephalus" (splitted vertebral column).
