Jan Spooren

Secretary General

Jan Spooren is responsible for the overall management of the EPR secretariat, activities and finances. Jan Spooren develops the EPR strategy, supervises the implementation and progress of the various initiatives, monitors and evaluates the Centre Action Plans. He also oversees EPR’s work in the area of Public Affairs and European projects. The Secretary  General dedicates some of his time to external consultancy activities generating income for EPR. He reports to the Executive Committee and to the Board of Directors.

Laurence Meuret

Office Manager

Laurence Meuret joined EPR in August 2011. She is in charge of the office management and the human ressources administration of EPR. She also provides financial support to the accountant and is closely working with the different project coordinators. Laurence has been working in an international law firm for 13 years and has strong experience in administration and secretarial support.

Claude Delfosse

Project Coordinator

Claude Delfosse was recruited as Project Coordinator in 2009. She is responsible for the monitoring and implementation of the EPR Centre Action Plan activities and coordinates European projects on social and professional inclusion of people with disabilities. Her tasks also include the organisation of the semi-annual meetings of the Centre Coordinators, and research on topics of EPR members' interest.

Julie Buttier

Communications & PR Officer

Julie Buttier was recruited in the EPR in November 2009 as Communications and Public Relations Officer. She is responsible for all communications aspects of the EPR and EQUASS, including website management, and she provides organisational support for various events, conferences and trainings. She is also involved in the coordination of European projects on assistive technologies.

Cinzia De Letis

EPR & EQUASS Intern

Cinzia joined EPR in mid of October 2011 as an intern. Cinzia will assist EPR secretariat and EQUASS unit providing administrative and organisational support for various activities and events, with special accent on communication aspects. She will also assist the secretariat to identify potential sources of funding and develop new project proposals for EPR and EPR members. Cinzia has a Master Degree in European Funded Projects and has previous experience in implementing Leonardo da Vinci projects.

Clare Sturla

Project Assistant

Clare Sturla joined the EPR at the end of April 2011. Holder of an MSc in International Social Policy, Clare previously worked for a Member of Parliament in Westminster, London. Clare will assist in the overall functioning of the Secretariat with particular emphasis on matters related to Public Affairs and the implementation of Centre Action Plans (CAPs).  Clare will also assist in the various events and projects EPR is involved with.

Marie Dubost

EQUASS Coordinator

Marie Dubost joined EPR in March 2011 as coordinator for EQUASS (European Quality in Social Services). With a background in international trade and consultancy to the European Union, Marie is responsible for the facilitation of all certification processes and quality activities of the department. She is also in charge of monitoring the commercial and financial results of the EQUASS Unit.

Guus van Beek

EQUASS Key Expert

Guus van Beek is EPR’s quality expert responsible for the development and running of the newly re-branded EQUASS (European Quality in Social Services). He is in charge of the management of audits, initiation programmes, trainings and certification. Guus van Beek also provides consultancy to external organisations interested in EQUASS. In 2007, Guus van Beek acted as manager of the EQUAVET project.

Jan Albers

Senior Expert

Jan Albers is involved in the design and implementation of the Centre Action Plans. He acts as a facilitator for various Discussion and Learning Groups and provides expert input in EPR strategic documents. Jan Albers has also been tasked to assist EPR to develop its enlargement strategy.

Donal McAnaney

Senior Expert

Donal McAnaney provides extensive expertise in EPR involvement in consultancy activities and in European projects. He worked actively on the modelling of disabilities polices in Portugal and in Russia and on the building of social services in Romania. Donal McAnaney also leads EPR Learning Groups and contributes to other CAP activities. He is a regular speaker at EPR events.

Dimitri Fatralis

IT Expert

Dimitri Fatralis is in charge of the IT and communication infrastructure and functioning in the EPR secretariat. He advises on the operation of the EPR website and provides essential trouble-shooting support.
