European Disability Forum (EDF) An independent European non-governmental organisation (ENGO) that represents the interests of disabled people in the EU.
Academic Network of European Disability Experts (ANED) A pan-European academic network in the disability field to support policy development in collaboration with the Commission's Disability Unit.
DG Employment, Social Affairs & Equal Opportunities of the European Commission A DG workings towards the creation of more and better jobs, an inclusive society and equal opportunities for all.
DG Education & Culture of the European Commission A DG that aims to improve the quality of learning systems and provide greater opportunities for people at all stages of their lives.

Employers' Forum on Disability An employers' organisation whose mission is to enable companies to become disability confident by making it easier to recruit and retain disabled employees and to serve disabled customers.
Social Employers Network (SEN) A network set up to encourage, consult and support employers in recruitment and retainment of any kind of disadvantaged or disabled workers.
European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) A Confederation whose aim is to promote the interests of working people at European level and to represent them in the EU institutions.
Business & Disability: European Network A European Network that works to raise awareness of the business case for disability, promotes disability inclusion initiatives, and encourage the exchange of ideas amongst business, political actors and people with disabilities.
The European Association of Service Providers for Persons with Disabilities (EASPD) A non-profit NGO that represents European social service providers across disability.

Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) International economic organisation whose agenda includes the fight against poverty and social inclusion, as well as a wide range of social and welfare issues.
Rehabilitation International (RI) A global network of experts, professionals and advocates working together to empower persons with disabilities and provide sustainable solutions for a more inclusive and accessible society.

Current EPR projects
The ÆGIS project seeks to determine whether 3rd generation access techniques will provide a more accessible, more exploitable and deeply embeddable approach in mainstream ICT (desktop, rich Internet and mobile applications).
Reintegrate aims to return people to work who have become absent because of illness or injury. It supports employers in developing good practice for timely and appropriate return to work.
Vocational Integration of Persons with Disabilities (VIP) The VIP project, which started in November 2008, aims to integrate people with disabilities into the Romanian labour market through vocational assessment and rehabilitation services.
Project on quality
The Prometheus project addresses the need for a European approach on quality in the social services sector. The project's objectives revolve around the questions of definition, measurement, assessment and improvement of quality of social services.
EQUASS in Practice is a two-year project which aims to make the EQUASS Assurance certification system more easily available to all Vocational, Education and Training (VET) providers within the vocational rehabilitation sector.

PROGRESS - EU's employment and social solidarity programme (2007-2013) PROGRESS is the EU's employment and social solidarity programme. It was established to financially support the implementation of the objectives of the European Union in employment, social affairs and equal opportunities, as set out in the Social Agenda.
Lifelong Learning Programme: Leonardo da Vinci The Leonardo da Vinci Programme, as a part of the European Commission's Lifelong Learning Programme, funds practical projects in the field of vocational education and training.
Seventh Framework Programme (Research Funding) The Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) bundles all research-related EU initiatives together under a common roof playing a crucial role in reaching the goals of growth, competitiveness and employment; along with a new Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP), Education and Training programmes, and Structural and Cohesion Funds for regional convergence and competitiveness.
The European Social Fund (ESF) is one of the EU's Structural Funds, set up to reduce differences in prosperity and living standards across EU Member States and regions, and therefore promoting economic and social cohesion.
