Information Session on the Knowledge Management Centre

 

Eden Foundation in Malta, 27 May 2008

 

 

On 27 May, Eden Foundation welcomed Nadège Jibassia, EPR Project Coordinator for a half-day visit. The meeting which gathered about 20 managers and programme coordinators from Eden, aimed at exploring Knowledge Management practices at internal and European level. During her presentation, N. Jibassia explained the basic principles of internal knowledge management, its added-value,  the key elements for a successful internal strategy and gave concrete examples of tools. In addition, she made an on-line demonstration of the Knowledge Management Centre, developed by EPR, and showed how the professionals from the Eden can make use of  this simple and user-friendly tool.


Taking the opportunity of this visit, N. Jibassia gave to the participants an overview of the EPR activities from which they can benefit as associate member.  In turn, few participants presented their own activities, highlighting their current challenges and needs that EPR could potentially address.

This half-day proved to be a fruitful exchange, strengthening the links between EPR and the Eden Foundation and gave a successful start for reflecting on knowledge management issues and excellent basis for more targeted actions to the benefit of Eden.
