It is the first time in the EPR's history that an activity is organised specifically for HR managers. This was taken up as a response to the demands expressed during the last centre visits (autumn 2008).

 

Indeed, service providers have to deal with new challenges that affect HR policies such as de-institutionalisation, decentralisation of service provision, continuity and quality of services, cooperation with other providers and mainstream organisations, financial reductions, stronger position of clients.

 

The training seminar offered the participants the opportunity to become familiar with knowledge and tools to develop and use competence frameworks as well as recruitment and retention strategies, to exchange on practices on performance management and career planning, carrying out an evaluation of their mutual Human Resources approaches.
