On 4-5 March 2010 EPR organised its sixth annual Strategic Workshop for Directors in Voss, Norway, hosted by A2G.

During the two-day stay, the participants explored and discussed self-determination of clients as well as innovation in ICT as a strategy for business development. The directors clearly identified the need to implement a ICT strategy that would support their overall business strategy and they also made bridges between self-determination and the impact it has on the use of ICT. Self-determination leads to a better awareness of the clients in relation to their needs and they can therefore become more demanding. ICT can help satisfy these higher expectations as it has an  add value providing more and better services with less initial financial outlay. These potential changes should accompany all phases of service development and provision within an organisation.
