EPR Research and Development Forum

24-25 February 2011, Brussels

On 24 and 25 February 2011, 9 representatives from 7 EPR member organisations participated in the initial meeting of the EPR Research and Development Forum.

Held in Brussels Secretariat, the meeting was the first step towards the setting up of a R&D Forum with a first view to benchmarking on strategies and approaches on how to organise and finance R&D, and on research methods used in the rehablitation sector. The participants produced guidelines and recommendations on how to evaluate R&D, the rationale for R&D and ways of communicating results. They reflected on how EPR could best foster its members R&D activities and identified common areas of interest in R&D for possible future co-operation.
