Vocational Integration of Persons with Disabilities (VIP)

 Equal opportunities on the labour market

The VIP project, which started in November 2008, aims to integrate people with disabilities into the Romanian labour market through vocational assessment and rehabilitation services. The EPR secretariat, along with National Learning Network, the Rehab Enterprises and Pluryn, are responsible for providing international expertise to design new tools and methods of vocational assessment, vocational training, sheltered employment and supported employment.

Within this project, a competency framework for professionals of vocational training for persons with disabilities will be developped, as well as an accreditation system for Romanian professionals.

This project lasts three years and is funded by the european Commission via the European Social Fund 2007-2013. It is led by the Romanian Ministry of Labour, Family and Equal Opportunities.
