Theotokos visited by a delegation from Astangu Rehabilitation Centre (Estonia)

12 - 16 April

A representative group of 4 professionals from the Rehabilitation Centre of Astangu in Estonia visited Theotokos Foundation in Athens (12 – 16 April). The visit was organised under the umbrella of a European Leonardo Da Vinci Mobility project.

Astangu was represented by:

     -  Mari Rull             director of Astangu Centre
     -  Liina Teesalu      head of training department
     -  Mari Kalbin         trainer in the field of home maintenance
     -  Tiia Salum           trainer in the field of handicraft

They had the opportunity to visit all of the departments and workshops of the Theotokos Foundation.

Professionals from Theotokos made several presentations about programmes of assessment vocational training and vocational integration. On the 15th of April 2010 the Estonian group attended the 4th Greek-Cyprus Conference “Moving to my Home.”

Accompanied by the professionals of the vocational integration department, the Estonian delegation visited work areas outside “Theotokos”, met with employers, trainees and workers, and got information concerning supported employment and work placement.
