Ageing and disability, Housing, Independent living and Assistive Technologies

 

Training seminar, 12-13 November, Groesbeek (the Netherlands)

 

 

Service providers are confronted with a large variety of clients’ requests in terms of living and accommodation facilities. Also the ageing population creates a large demand for adapted housing services for elderly disabled in residential services and people at home that become more dependent and due to age. For these reasons, service providers must vary their living/accommodation facilities for people with disabilities, from residential settings over supported living, in small groups to individual independent living options.

 

 

The seminar will provide the participants will focus on the most challenging issues related to housing, including the organisational aspects, the inclusion of different target groups, the use of assistive technology and the impact of ageing population.

 

This event will be hosted by Pluryn in the Netherlands.

 

The seminar will include three site visits to different types of innovative housing facilities.
