A2G

A2G was established in 1966 and is the largest vocational rehabilitation provider on the west coast of Norway. The organisation is among the largest in the country, consisting of 10 enterprises within the sectors of knowledge, service, profiling, and industry. The organisation’s goal is to give people who have not been working or who no longer work, the opportunity to (re)enter the labour market, and to offer the opportunity of long-term employment to those who cannot be employed in the open labour market, but who are willing and able to work.

In terms of vocational rehabilitation services, A2G provides:

• assessment and clarification

• 'on-the-job' training

• supported employment

• apprenticeships

• long-term 'on-the-job' training of vocationally disabled

• sheltered employment

The organisation’s stated mission is to build a strong vocational rehabilitation sector for the future through virtual merges, business chains and sound financial results. A2G’s revenue in 2007 was 200 million NOK. The organisation has been certified with EQRM in 2005 and base the quality system on ISO 9001:2000. In March 2010, 5 units of A2G were certified with EQUASS Assurance.
