Technischer Jugendfreizeit- und Bildungsverein (tjfbv)
Technischer Jugendfreizeit und Bildungsverein (tjfbv) is a private not-for-profit organisation, founded in 1991, which focuses on ICT applications for people with disabilities. It currently operates at six locations and has about 60 employees.
The tjfbv proposes workshops to children, youngsters and adults (8 - 27 years) with or without disabilities. The centre proposes to children leisure activities and supports youngsters in defining their professional orientation (techniques, IT, communication, etc.) for example by procuring internships to youngsters. Close co-operation with business enterprises and chambers of commerce ensures the effective transmission from knowledge as well as to point out prospects for the future.
