EQUASS Assurance provides an integrated system of certification specifically tailored for the social sector, and allows social service providers to enhance their performance. EQUASS Certification is considered as a fundamental requirement for operating social services, as the EQUASS Assurance threshold is easily accessible in terms of costs, efforts and feasibility.

All the organisations which meet the EQUASS Assurance criteria are certified by the independent, international Awarding Committee for a period of two years. This Committee includes representatives from key European stakeholders.
