Local Licence Holders

 

 

EQUASS aims to operate the EQUASS system at the national level and to offer external audits in the local language. Local Licence Holders are European organisations acting as local agents for EQUASS: they are involved in the distribution, operation and dissemination of the EQUASS certification programme at their national level. A Local Licence Holder is authorised to offer EQUASS to local providers of social services.

 

EQUASS Local Licence Holders are already operational in Portugal, Ireland, Norway and Germany.

Brüssler Kreis

 

The Brüsseler Kreis (Brussels Circle) is a collaboration of the major Protestant and Catholic social enterprises in Germany. 

The Brüsseler Kreis is active in providing care for persons with disabilities, the elderly, youth and in education. With about 40,000 workers and more than 35,000 in-patient, partly-in patient and out-patient care services we obtain about 100,000 clients yearly and a turnover of around € 1.7 billion.

Portuguese Association for Quality (APQ)

 

APQ is a membership based non-profit organisation, founded in 1969. Its purpose is to promote and spread knowledge and experiences in the field of Quality Organizational Excellence, as well as practices that lead to increase the productivity between organisations in Portugal. APQ is recognised as the leading non-governmental institution on the Portuguese quality movement.
It has about 2200 members, covering organisations from various sectors and dimensions, public and private, and a wide number of auditors, consultants and quality managers.
APQ is also a Sectoral Standardisation Body in the field of Quality Management, responsible for two Technical Committees - Quality Management and Conformity Assessment.
It is the National Representative of EOQ - European Organisation for Quality, the National Partner Organisation of EFQM - European Foundation for Quality Management and the National Member Organisation of the FUNDIBEQ - Iberoamerican Foundation for Quality Management.
APQ is authorised to operate EQUASS Assurance certification programme in Portugal.

Excellence Ireland Quality Association (EIQA)

 

EIQA works with thousands of organisations, public and private, large and small, throughout Ireland and the United Kingdom. The Association of Vocational Rehabilitation Enterprises (AVRE)

 

The Association of Vocational Rehabilitation Enterprises (AVRE) is an employer and interest organisation for approximately 110 not-for-profit organisations spread across Norway. These organisations provide vocational support (vocational assessment, permanently adapted work, research support for a job or further education) to more than 35,000 disadvantaged persons yearly. In addition, the organisations provide work preparatory training for persons who need to establish necessary basic skills for any job, as well as supported employment for persons in need of extensive follow-up in the open labour market.

AVRE qualifies vocationally disabled in genuine labour environments. The qualification is goal directed and adapted to the vocationally disabled people individual needs carried out under professional guidance. The vocationally disabled can also use the huge network the enterprise have for further education, qualification or job training in the open labour market.

AVRE is authorised to operate the EQUASS Assurance certification programme in Norway.

The Valakupiai Rehabilitation Centre (VRC)

 

The Valakupiai Rehabilitation Centre (VRC) in Vilnius signed an Agreement in November 2010. VRC, a public organisation funded under the Ministry of Social Affairs, has a leading role in promoting quality in the Vocational Rehabilitation sector in Lithuania. VRC had a meeting with all vocational rehabilitation providers in Lithuania where they were informed about EQUASS Assurance and the future role of VRC.  The core documents for EQUASS Assurance have been translated into the national Lithuanian language and made available via the EQUASS in Practice site: www.equassinpractice.epr.eu

 

VRC is authorised to operate the EQUASS Assurance certification programme in Lithuania.

Development unit of Employment Rehabilitation, University Rehabilitation Institute, Republic of Slovenia

 

Development unit of Employment Rehabilitation in Ljubljana has a leading role in promoting quality in the Vocational Rehabilitation Sector in Slovenia. Its role is recognised through public mandate from the act and financially supported  by the Slovenian Ministry of labour, family and Social Affairs. The University Rehabilitation Institute in Ljubljana has signed an EQUASS Licence Holder Agreement in November 2010. The core documents for EQUASS Assurance have been translated in the Slovenian language and made available via the EQUASS in Practice project website. The first Vocational Rehabilitation Service providers already expressed their intention to start the implementation of EQUASS Assurance.

 

The Research and Development department of URI is authorised to operate the EQUASS Assurance certification programme in Slovenia.
