 EQUASS Trainings

Improving quality of services with EQUASS

EQUASS Information seminar

The Information seminar provides information on the characteristics of Quality Management in the social sector and the EQUASS certification programmes.

An EQUASS Information seminar is the first step towards EQUASS certification.

EQUASS Assurance Induction Training

The EQUASS Assurance induction training deals with the characteristics of EQUASS Assurance:

• the Principles for Quality

• the EQUASS Assurance criteria

• the operational performance indicators

• the input for a self-evaluation

During the induction training, the organisation will learn how to evaluate its compliance with the Principles for Quality through a Quick Scan. The scan identifies the organisation's current performance against the EQUASS Assurance criteria and recommendations for improvement.

The recommendations of the Quick Scan will be translated into an action plan, which will be followed by the organisation throughout the EQUASS Assurance certification process.

EQUASS Excellence Induction Training

The EQUASS Excellence induction training deals with the characteristics of EQUASS Excellence:

• the Principles for Quality

• the EQUASS Excellence criteria

• the three perspectives of assessment (approach, deployment and results)

• the input for the audit process (the self-evaluation)

During the induction training, the organisation will learn how to evaluate its compliance with the Principles for Quality through a Quick Scan. This scan identifies the strengths and areas for improvement of the organisation, and its overall current performance against the EQUASS Excellence criteria.

The results of the Quick Scan are then translated into an action plan, which will be followed by the organisation throughout the EQUASS Excellence certification process.

In-depth EQUASS Training

The in-depth EQUASS training assists potential EQUASS applicants in writing a self-evaluation report for EQUASS Excellence to ensure that the external audit can be carried out in the most efficient and effective way.

The training focuses on the relationship between the approach, deployment and results perspectives when writing the self-evaluation report.

During the training, the participants also learn how to prepare the EQUASS Excellence site visit.
