ESF project closing conference
EQUASS and EPR representatives attended the closing conference of the ESF project on 15 December in Tallinn, Estonia, which aimed to pilot the EQUASS Assurance system to seven rehabilitation service providers in Estonia
The Awarding event is organised every year to officially recognised the organisations certified during the past months. This year, the Ceremony was held in beautiful Athens, Greece.
"EQUASS in Practice" project recognised as "Best Practice"
The EQUASS in Practice project, led by EPR member AVRE (Association of Vocational Rehabilitation Enterprises) in Norway, has been singled out at the QALL Conference for offering a best practice project and for providing a successful European Project which delivered outstanding quality in the sector. EQUASS in Practice ran from 2008 until 2010.
There are still seats available for the next EQUASS Assurance training organised on 16-17-18 January 2012 in Olsberg, Germany. The training is also open to EQUASS Assurance auditors who need to calibrate their expertise.
The dissemination of EQUASS Assurance has reached new levels, with more than 300 organisations becoming certified in 2011. EQUASS, at both Assurance and Excellence level, is currently present in 14 different European countries. EQUASS certified organisations serve above 80.000 users and employ more than 19.500 staff.
EQUASS is an initiative of the European Platform for Rehabilitation (EPR). EQUASS provides a range of comprehensive services in the area of approval and certification of quality, all of which comply with European requirements for quality in the provision of social services.
