Transition for youngsters with a disability

from school to (semi)independent living

Several EPR member organisation have expressed an increased interest in issues related to the transition of youngsters from the services, most often the school, to work and (semi)independent living.

In this perspective, EPR organises on 11-12 September a benchmarking group hosted by Luovi in Finland. The event will give participants the opportunity to exchange on respective challenges, solutions and practices and learn from each other. It will alsoinclude a series of visits to the services of Luovi Vocational Institute aimed at supporting the transition of youngsters with a disability.

Note that this event is open to EPR full and associate members. Registered participants will be consulted in May- June in order to fine-tune the programme according to their expectations.
