English course for Rehabilitation Professionals

Following the requests of several members, EPR decided to develop a comprehensive one-week English course for rehabilitation professionals. For most EPR member organisations, the English language remains the main barrier to seize the opportunities for continuous improvement offered by EPR via its professional development activities, projects and public affairs activities.

A determinant factor of the benefits an organisation draws from EPR membership is the ability of its staff to participate in EPR activities. Therefore, training professionals in using English in a professional context will strengthen the added-value of the EPR.

The English has been developed as an extra activity to the regular professional activities calendar. It targets professionals with beginner and intermediate level of English and will allow them to:

• improve their understanding of oral and written English
• increase their ability and confidence to speak English in a face-to-face conversation and in front of a group.

To facilitate the organisation of a specific "Rehabilitation and Disability English" class, EPR has pre-selected a few weeks in September and October. Participants are invited to indicate their preference order (see registration form).
