Human Capital Assessment Centre
EKON have inaugurated first Polish pilot Human Capital Assessment Centre in the Head Quarter of the EKON Association in Warsaw, 5th Mortkowicza St. In this centre, an interdisciplinary team of psychologists, coaches, diagnosticians and employment counsellors is cooperating with people with disabilities expressing the willingness for work. Beneficiary support consists of a complex skills, competence and predispositions assessment, taking into account the limitations due to disability and defining the required support in returning to or entering the labour market. The assessment and rehabilitation model is based on International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) recommended for use by World Health.

INOVATELL: European project develops adapted online learning environment and content for people with severe disabilities
VRC together with CRPG (Portugal), URI-Soča (Slovenia) and IT partner Idea Code are finalising the INOVATELL products – ICT basic skills learning content and adapted touchless gesture controlled user interface. The project is financed under the Lifelong Learning Programme and will be fully implemented in 2015 September.
The main purpose of INOVATELL project is to develop and implement technological solution that will help people with limited hands functions to participate in lifelong learning process by remotely controlled specialized software on mobile and stationary computer devices using only head or hand gestures.
At the moment the ICT basics training programme together with user interface are tested in Lithuania, Portugal and Slovenia. It is expected that the INOVATELL products will contribute for improvement the quality and accessibility of the vocational training and rehabilitation programmes for people with the most severe motor disabilities.
In September 2015, the project will produce downloadable software that will run on a Windows 8 computers and tabs with a standard USB or built-in webcam. It is expected that people may use INOVATELL solution for education, communication and entertainment purposes, web browsers, and so on. This software and training material will be available for free in 4 languages: English, Lithuanian, Portuguese and Slovenian.

Kompetent mobil project
The Kompetent mobile project aims at improving the capacity of people with disabilities to move around the city indipendently. Josefheim in Bigge, and BFW Bad Wildbad are involved in the project and in June will organise an event in Dresden. Germany, to present the initiative and its first outcomes.
