EPR Projects LAB

Purpose of the Projects Lab

The Projects Lab is conceived as a practical and participatory workshop through which EPR members and the EPR Secretariat will work together to develop concrete logical frameworks based on real project ideas.

The workshop combines a brief training component with a hands on laboratory approach. Its purpose is both to strengthen participants’ understanding of the Logical Framework Approach and to support the development of structured project concepts that may serve as a basis for future funding applications. In line with the agenda, the workshop is designed to produce 2 concrete logical frameworks as final outputs.

This training is intended in particular for:

• project managers
• project writers
• grant officers and grant managers
• staff responsible for organisational development

Learning objectives

By the end of the Projects Lab, participants are expected to have:

• acquired practical knowledge of the Logical Framework Approach
• strengthened their ability to define problems and objectives clearly
• strengthened their ability to identify indicators and sources of verification
• improved their capacity to design coherent activities linked to objectives
• enhanced the quality of the project applications they develop
• increased the likelihood of funding success through more structured proposals
