Mission & Vision

Heliomare supports children, youngsters and adults with physical or multiple disabilities, traumatic brain injuries (TBI) or autism. The degree of support provided depends on the requirements and the physical and mental abilities of the client. A variety of services are offered, including medical rehabilitation, vocational rehabilitation, special education (primary and secondary education) and sports. Heliomare brings together extensive expertise and bridges between different fields, including rehabilitation, education, sport and vocational rehabilitation. Heliomare is also actively engaged in working together with other leading service providers and international networks.
Heliomare acknowledges the value of freedom and independence. Every client is unique and receives a personal rehabilitation and coaching program to (re-) gain as much independence as possible.
