EPR Preparedness Taskforce 1st meeting

The first EPR Preparedness Taskforce meeting, taking place on 21 November 2025 between 10:00 and 12:00 CET Brussels time, aims at discussing, exchanging and elaborating on a common understanding on preparedness in the sector of services for persons with disabilities.

This is the first of a series of two online meetings that take place in autumn 2025 with EPR members and external speakers. The outcomes of the discussions will be integrated in a series of key messages the EPR Secretariat will put together.

More specifically, this first meeting will aim at:

• Discussing Red Cross EU’s and EDF’s Preparedness work, the link between preparedness and social services, and the involvement of services for persons with disabilities and persons with disabilities in preparedness;
• Exchange in a small group of EPR members on preparedness;
• Develop recommendations for approaches, actions, and policies that foster preparedness in the sector of services for persons with disabilities
