The Working Group Return to Work & Partnerships meets twice a year to exchange views and insights into barriers, success factors and good practices for return-to-work and employer engagement. This includes disability management and inclusive job design, and other frameworks for advancing the employment of people with disabilities.
For 2024, the working group has identified a variety of priority topics including Digital and Green Transitions, Individual Placement and Support (IPS), Awareness raising with employers, and job retention for persons who attained a disability while being already employed. In addition, the group will follow upcoming EU initiatives linked to the Disability Employment Package to improve labour market outcomes for persons with disabilities.
The second meeting will be held on 16 October 2024, 14.00-16.00 CEST online in Teams. This meeting will invite to share the latest initiatives and projects by member organisations, review a recent opinion by the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) about the social integration of persons with disabilities, practices and pathways to employment in service provider organisations across Europe.
If you wish to attend, please follow the registration form link below. Thank you.
Please note, this meeting is for EPR members only.
