EPR Participates in Two WHO Europe Innovation Platform Meetings on Equity and Access

On 20 May and 30 June 2026, EPR had the opportunity to participate in meetings from the WHO/Europe Public Health Innovation Platform Domain 9 – Equity and Access. The WHO/Europe Public Health Innovation Platform is a collaborative, WHO-hosted network designed to catalyse system-level transformation in public health.

Participants in these meetings are experts from academic and research organisations, healthcare innovation hubs and networks, consulting organisations, healthcare service quality and accreditation bodies, patient-centred and disease-specific organisations, NGOs and civil society organisations, public health organisations and Member States.

These meetings have the aim to identify key pain points on the topic of “equity and access” in the current European public health innovation landscape, and innovations to address them. WHO/Europe aims for the Domain 9 to produce an output, currently scoped as implementation briefs targeted to Member States and Governments.

Implementation briefs can be expected in November 2026, as they will be presented at the WHO Innovation Summit taking place in that month.
