National Awareness Raising Event Greece – Employment of People with Disabilities

This 1-day event was co-organized with Theotokos and addressed training and employment of pwd, with a focus on supported employment. Over 120 people took part. Local and national policy makers made interventions, Laura Jones presented good practices from the EPR membership and Luc Henau, as President of the European Union for Supported Employment, presented the model and its success factors.

Among other topics there were panel discussions including representatives of job coaches, companies and people with disabilities. A short report will be developed.

Some speakers on the day included Mrs Kaiti Katsouda, Head of Supported Employment Service at the Theotokos Foundation and Vice President of European Union of Supported Employment (EUSE),  and Mr Luc Henau, President of the European Union of Supported Employment (EUSE).
