The Working Group Return to Work & Partnerships meets twice a year to exchange views and insights into barriers, success factors and good practices for return-to-work and employer engagement. This includes disability management and inclusive job design, and other frameworks for advancing the employment of people with disabilities.
For 2025, the working group will review models and options for employment of people with disabilities in a changing open labour market coping with green and digital transitions, demographic change; and explore options for supporting employers to foster inclusive employment. The Working Group will hold it’s first meeting in 2025 online on Tuesday 8 July 2025, from 14:00 to 16:00 CEST (Brussels time).
During this meeting, EPR members will (1) review the European Commission final report on a study about alternative employment models for persons with disabilities, which is one deliverable under the Disability Employment Package and for which this working group took charge of EPR contributions to the study (2) discuss practices for the employment of persons with intellectual disabilities in the open labour market with a researcher at Inclusion Europe and (3) collect ideas and suggestion for future activities of this working group in 2026 and following years.
A draft agenda for the first meeting will be available shortly before the meeting.
Please note, this event is for EPR members only.
