ILO’s new report on people with disabilities in the green and digital economy

The International Labour Organisation (ILO) and the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) published together a report which identifies the main challenges to the inclusion of people of disabilities in the digital and green economy and provides key policy recommendations. The report pays particular attention to the impact of digitisation and Artificial Intelligence on persons with disabilities, highlighting key barriers such as digital skills needs, the lack of accessibility to basic digital tools, the risk of exclusion from remote working platforms and the risk of bias in AI recruitment systems.
