iArbeid is an independent and national non-profit employer and advocacy organization for service providers within vocational rehabilitation, training and adapted employment. Our members mainly provide services on behalf of the National Welfare Administration (Nav) and municipalities. There are approximately 270 service providers that offer specially adapted work and vocational rehabilitation and training in Norway. Almost 7 out of 10 of these providers are members of iArbeid. Most of them are owned by municipalities. Others have non-profit organizations as their main stockholders.
The members of iArbeid create social sustainability by including more people in education and employment.
iArbeid cooperates broadly with all stakeholders, members and the public to attain the main goal: Making employment an option for everyone.
iArbeid has initiated and are responsible for the methodology in the Erasmus+ funded project CeVET (Customized Employment in Vocational Education and Training), cooperating with partners in Germany, Italy, Spain, and Ireland. The project aims to make it easier for people with intellectual disabilities to find suitable work.
