Team-based implemented and evaluated vocational and employment rehabilitation programs, which are key parts of integrated rehabilitation programs.
Provide comprehensive rehabilitation to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities and contribute to quicker return to everyday life.
The organisation was founded to serve the purpose of its mission, eager for future development. The key to make the organisation a success are the employees of the institute. For that, it was necessary to issue the guidelines for good manners (valuableness) that would define the directions of relationships in internal and external environment of the Institute for rehabilitation, Republic of Slovenia. The outcomes of our common work have resulted in further definitions.
Research and education, as key part of our work, significantly contribute to the development and modernisation of the rehabilitation doctrine.
We strive to become a leading and highly esteemed healthcare institution offering comprehensive rehabilitation services to patients with disabilities related to motor functions and work abilities.
During the 50 years of its existence, the Institute has become an internationally recognised institution. Thanks to its expertise, experience, research and frequent participation of its experts at important international conferences and workshops, the Institute promotes the development of rehabilitation. The Institute can be ranked among the most successful organisations in the field of healthcare.
“We like to say the Institute is an organisation going for a trip on a clear sunny day with no bigger obstacles in sight but it decides to take a turn towards the leading institutions in the field of rehabilitation in Europe and around the world”.
