New guidelines in the UK to support employers hiring people with disabilities

The Health and Safety Executive, the workplace regulator in Great Britain, has recently issued guidelines to help employers to identify the barriers at work for people with disabilities and take early and supportive action to better support them to stay and thrive in the workplace. The guidelines stress the importance of workplace accessibility, including reasonable adjustments (physical, organisational and attitudinal), clear and inclusive staff communication and occupational health support.
