EQUASS How to Apply

The process for applying for EQUASS certification requires the involvement of several actors including the applicants themselves, auditors, reviewers, and coordinators. Each application uses pre-defined templates, guiding documents, gateways and processes from preparation to awarding the certificate. The application process is designed to support applicants and also, if necessary, to support the improvement of services during the application phase. Identifying, recommending and reviewing areas for improvement are therefore critical components of the audit process.

The application form, check list and supporting documents help applicants to follow the various steps foreseen on the pathway to certification, starting with preparing the application and supporting documents. Organisations present their  application to the EQUASS National Representative (for most applicants) or the EQUASS Office in Brussels (for direct audits and Excellence audits) to equass[AT]equass.be.

Important: Documents and forms are available in the working languages of the EQUASS National Representatives and in English. In countries with EQUASS National Representative, applicants prepare their documents and conduct their audit in the working language of the country. Applicants in other countries and applicants for EQUASS Excellence prepare their documents and conduct their audit in English and submit them to equass[AT]equass.be.
