Self-employment and labour market barriers: new reflections from the Commission

In a freshly published publication, the European Commission reflects on how self-employment represents a popular alternative for people with disabilities. It allows them to have more control over their schedule, tasks and job location. Policy changes should focus on increasing entrepreneurial skills through training, access to start-up finance, and assuring a supportive local ecosystem.
