The Council presents latest trends on the rights of people with disabilities
The Swedish government, ending its Council Presidency next July, is presenting a seminar on how to realise the rights of people with disabilities and increase their inclusion in society on the 27th of June. The event builds upon the EU Strategy for the Rights of Persons with Disability, published by the European Commission. The seminar will indeed be co-hosted by the European Commission and the Disability Platform debating upon existing disability strategies and policy frameworks and exchanging their knowledge and good practices to increase people with disabilities inclusion and equality.
