The European Commission’s new report on equity and inclusion in higher education

The EC has published a report prepared by Eurydice, a network involving 37 countries of the Erasmus+ programme that analyses the organisation and functioning of education systems around Europe. The report investigates the current level of equity and inclusion in higher education, particularly of vulnerable, underrepresented and socially or economically disadvantaged groups. The findings show that European systems have been implementing several policies to meet the commitments, but need to increase their efforts, especially in terms of community engagement and policy dialogue.
