The Finnish Ministry of Social Affairs and Health published its Action Plan to implement the Economy of Well-Being for 2023- 2025

Following the raising attention dedicated to sustainability, well-being and health, the Finnish government sets its agenda for the next three years on an action plan which should ensure the realisation of a national well-being economy. To develop the plan, the Finnish government relied upon a multi-sectoral steering group, appointed by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health. The action plan represents the need to conjugate our market economy with all the dimensions of sustainability: social, economic and ecological. This will be done through the development of new sustainability indicators, based on impact assessment, which will then be observed and implemented by the central government together with the regional and municipal authorities. The main challenge will be integrating the decision and policy-making processes with these new social dimensions of sustainability.
