The new Czech Presidency of the Council of the EU: upcoming work on people with disabilities
On July 1st the Czech Presidency of the Council of the EU started and will last until December. The Presidency has published its programme and a list of priorities for each policy area. In the field of social affairs and inclusion, among its priorities are the implementation of the Package of Measures for Disability and Labour Market Integration, the support to the EU Care Strategy with a focus on long-term care and informal care and the implementation of the Social Economy Action Plan.

EQUASS
The European Quality in Social Services (EQUASS) is an initiative of the European Platform for Rehabilitation (EPR). EQUASS enhances the social sector by engaging social service providers in continuous improvement, learning and development, in order to guarantee service users quality of services throughout Europe.
