The updated version of the Digital Competences Framework now available online

The European Commission has published the updated version of the Digital Competences Framework for Citizens (DigComp 2.2), a tool providing useful inputs regarding digital competence, digital skills policy, training and assessment. The updated Framework aims to support policy making and education by providing more than 250 new examples of knowledge and skills that can help citizens to upskill and improve their information literacy, taking into account also emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, the Internet of Things and teleworking. The DigComp 2.2 follows the digital accessibility guidelines and is an important tool not only for the European Digital Strategy, but also to deliver on the objectives of the European Pillar of Social Rights Action Plan.
