Towards a More Inclusive Labor Market: LMI4Dis_Abled Project Launches a Digital Career System for Persons with Disabilities
In efforts to provide persons with disabilities the necessary tools to navigate the labor market, the LMI.04DIS_ABLED project has launched the Digital Career System – an interactive platform designed to support individuals at every stage of career exploration and development.
The platform consists of four key components, each tailored to address the unique needs of job seekers with disabilities:
- Skills & Interest Interface: Assists users in identifying their strengths and interests, helping to guide them toward career paths that align with their abilities and aspirations.
- Career Information Interface: Provides valuable insights into inclusive labor market trends, highlighting opportunities across diverse sectors such as Customer Care, Health, IT, AI, and Green Jobs—fields known for their growing demand and accessibility.
- Career Navigation Interface: Offers practical tools for job searching, resume building, and identifying inclusive employers, ensuring users are equipped with the resources they need to succeed in the job market.
- Career Interaction Interface: Fosters meaningful connections, enabling persons with disabilities to network with mentors, career support professionals, and potential employers through interactive tools that facilitate communication and collaboration.
To complement the Digital Career System, LMI.04DIS_ABLED also designed a training programme to equip career, vocational, and social inclusion practitioners with the knowledge and tools needed to better support persons with disabilities in their career journeys.
