The 6th edition of the European Vocational Skills Week
The week from 16 to 20 May marked the sixth edition of the European Vocational Skills Week, an initiative launched by the European Commission with the aim to raise awareness of the importance of Vocational Education and Training (VET), especially for young people and disadvantaged groups. This year’s theme was the green transition, with a focus on how VET can help people to gain skills that are key to deliver on the European Green Deal.
The event included the VET Excellence Awards, a prize awarded by the Commission to 12 projects, companies and European regions for their innovative and inclusive approaches.
