Eurofound’s study results on people with disabilities and the Covid pandemic

Eurofound published a policy brief which summarises the main findings from the Living, Working and COVID-19 e-survey that the Foundation conducted from February to March 2021. The survey gathered data about respondents with and without disabilities in four areas: access to healthcare, mental health and well-being, financial situation and optimism about the future. The findings show that people with disabilities have been suffering more severely than others from poor mental health and financial fragility related to Covid-19, and they stress the importance of the European Pillar of Social Right Action Plan as a tool to deliver a fair, sustainable and inclusive post-pandemic growth.
