The ongoing process to ensure “future-ready” services calls for service providers to work together with those who are using the services and also to create broader partnerships with the community and other stakeholders. Radical transformations are re-shaping societies at an unprecedented pace and the 2018 edition of the EPR Annual Conference, which also marked the 25th anniversary of the network, gathered a variety of stakeholders to imagine and create tomorrow’s services together.
By connecting people, ideas and expertise, the EPR conference aimed to support continuous development and innovation in services for people with disabilities.
The EPR Annual Conference 2018 took place in the Domstad conference center in Utrecht, The Netherlands on the 20-21st of September 2018 for a series of expert interventions, group discussions, training workshops and mutual learning sessions.
The conference also heard from young people involved in the The Future You(th) Want project – for more information see here.
On the afternoon of 19th September, EPR also held internal meetings, including an EU funding training workshop and General Assembly.
On the 20th of September, EPR held a Workshop on Integrated Care. The report can be found here.
