The EPR Working Group on Digital Skills aims to supports digital skills of learners and teachers, supporting the digital transformation of services. EPR will organize a full day meeting of the working group with a study visit, in collaboration with its Spanish member, Fundación ONCE.
The aim of the event was to exchange good practices, useful tools and projects focused on the assessment of digital skills and to discuss a framework for the design of Guidelines for the accessibility of digital skills assessment tools, as well learn about the experiences of ONCE’s digital academy.
Programme
The event was dedicated to sharing good practices and projects in the field of digital skills and discovering useful resources for their assessment. A round table discussion was dedicated to a framework to design Guidelines for the accessibility of digital skills assessment tools. Our colleagues from ONCE Foundation then showed the Digital Academy where participants had the opportunity to test some of the tools used for their students with disabilities. They also learnt from the direct experience of some of the trainees in ONCE Foundation who attended the ‘Por Talento Digital’ Programme and from employers of people with disabilities.
After the meeting, participants joined the visit to the art exhibition in the Contemporary Art Gallery, “Espacio SOLO”.

Venue
The meeting was hosted by ONCE Foundation, in its new Hub, Por Talento Digital Centre, in Madrid (Spain).
This modern space hosts a digital academy where permanent training program in digital skills and technological professions take place with the aim to provide digital qualification of people with disabilities.
