EPR European Pillar of Social Rights Day – 24th to 27th June

Various EPR Members in Greece, Portugal, Ireland and Belgium 24-28 June

In November 2017, the European Commission launched the European Pillar of Social Rights  (see our dedicated webpage here) to promote and protect social rights of EU residents. This is the latest key social initiative in Europe.

EPR monitors and follow the developments on the Social Pillar as services play a key role on its success: many of the 20 principles contained within the Pillar relate to the delivery of services, employment, education and rights of persons with disabilities.

Within this framework, this year EPR has launched the EPR – EPSR Day.

What is the EPR – EPSR Day?

A pilot initiative to promote mutual learning, visit to and exchange of inspiring EPR members’ practices and learn and discuss about the European Pillar of Social Rights all during one day within the same week at four different locations each of them hosted by one EPR member.

The EPR Secretariat launched a call to its members to receive proposals to host EPR – EPSR Day.

The selected proposals are:

25th June EPSR Day on Active Support to Employment led by CRPG in Porto, Portugal.

26th of June EPSR Day on Inclusive Education led by Rehab Group in Dublin, Ireland.

27th June EPSR Day on Active Support to Employment led by GTB in Leuven, Belgium.

EPR will now select Visitors (EPR Members ONLY) who can get their costs reimbursed to attend the Days. Any member are welcome at own costs.

>>EPR Members should:

– Have a look at the agendas of the 4 different events that you will find attached including date, location and theme of the day.
