Our cause: To assist persons with disabilities to achieve social equitability.
Aġenzija Sapport is the National Agency that provides a wide array of services to children and adults with disability.
Aġenzija Sapport is a governmental organisation that operates a myriad of non-profit services and projects, with over 600 employees. The Agency conveys this work in a holistic manner and always in the best interest of the person with disability, always committed towards providing a better quality of life, co-production and independent living. The services given are developed using a person-centred approach, involving different professionals and key persons in the life of persons with disability and themselves to develop such individual support plans.
The Agency is also currently undergoing a reform in personal assistance through the introduction of personal budgets. After months of consultations with local and international stakeholders, the Agency launched a public consultation in October 2023, which gave the Agency and other local policymakers a basis on which to develop legislation and plans for the implementation of such reform.
