New toolkit on how public employment services can improve the labour market for people with disabilities
European Public Employment Services (PES) Network has published an accessible “Practitioner toolkit on strengthening PES to improve the labour market outcomes of persons with disabilities”. The toolkit is a deliverable of the Commission’s new Disability Employment Package and aims at supporting all types of PES in better integrating persons with disabilities into the labour market. It consist of three sections: the first one presents the policy framework and an overview of PES services in this field; section two illustrates the tools that PES can use to combat discrimination and increase labour market participation of persons with disabilities; section three sets out the five concrete steps that PES can follow in order implement their services for persons with disabilities.
