The EU advance on closing skills gaps in Europe

The annual survey of the EU Pact for Skills reveals positive outcomes in advancing skills training across Europe. Key findings include 2 million people benefiting from up- and re-skilling activities, 15,500 training programs being updated or developed, and €160 million invested by Pact members in skills initiatives. The Pact for Skills brings together various stakeholders to address skills shortages collectively. Skills partnerships have effectively addressed sector-specific needs, with 18 large-scale partnerships established in strategic sectors. These partnerships aim to train over 10 million people in the future. The survey also showcases successful skilling actions by Pact members, highlighting their impact and reach.
