The European Commission launches Citizens’ Engagement Platform

The European Commission has launched the Citizens’ Engagement Platform – an online space that will allow European Union citizens to exchange ideas and contribute to EU policy-making. 

Thanks to real-time translation it is possible to participate and express your opinion in any of the EU’s 24 official languages and engage with your fellow citizens and like-minded people.

As one of the key objectives of the European Commission is the stronger citizen participation in its democratic processes and policies, the European Citizens’ Panel is an optimal solution to have your say and be engaged in the EU policy-making process on equal footing.

Each Citizens’ Panel brings together 150 randomly selected citizens from all 27 European Union countries, reflecting Europe’s diversity. The Panels make recommendations on key EU policies.
