WHO/Europe and European Commission establish new partnership for better long-term care

World Health Organization Europe and the European Commission have joined forces to support EU countries working to improve long-term care. The new partnership will focus on improving access and quality of long-term care services while providing important support to informal caregivers, who often play a crucial role in care provision.

The European Quality in Social Services (EQUASS) is an initiative of the European Platform for Rehabilitation (EPR). EQUASS enhances the social sector by engaging social service providers in continuous improvement, learning and development, in order to guarantee service users quality of services throughout Europe.
