In 2018, the WHO launched the Special Initiative for Mental Health, aiming at guaranteeing access to (quality) mental health structures and services for 100 million people. At present, nine countries from across the world are actively participating in the initiative. The mid-term review depicts the advancements in national mental health policies and service production and delivery, achieved since the initiative started 5 years ago, in the participating countries. The review is accompanied by a map including the biggest achievements.
